I work in TV and the rumor is that Turner has a lot of questions for Tony Khan about why he let Cody walk, and they're really not interested in hearing about dumb interpersonal wrestling bullshit. One of my colleagues thinks that's why Tony made sure to point out that Turner is thrilled with aew right now in a tweet tonight. He's pretty stupid (I've only met him once in passing, but that's his reputation) but according to some industry friends I have, he always overcompensates when he feels threatened. Tony is having to answer some questions he'd probably rather not from Turner about Cody. They livedt him.
