>>5220577She had legit good mic skills too. She was the main reason that I used to watch MLW. She came off like a star, and they booked like one. Even Jim Cucknette constantly overrated her skills, because she really was that much better on the mic than most women. Last year, he said that she'd easily be the third best person on the mic if she got signed to AEW. I recall Khan saying that he had no interest in her, because he just compared her to Zelina for some reason when they're nothing at all alike. Salina had a mobster authority role and damn near all of the storylines involving her at MLW were almost as good as MJF's & Teddy Hart's MLW stories. Zelina Vega is just some random hypeman who functioned like Andrade's Lio Rush to Lashley.
That's Tiny Khan for you though. He only cares about booking stories his way, but his style of story telling is fucking trash. Dumb nigga really needs to learn how to properly establish 'Slow Burn' plot twists. The transition of power between Salina's faction and Contra Unit was a slow burn story which showed Contra slowly gaining more power & influence which ended in La Park kayfabe breaking Salina's neck and the end of her faction. Making it so that there was nobody left who could challenge against Contra any more, up until MJF's stable disbanded and Hammerstone became a face. Which is itself another Slow Burn plot which happened behind the scenes during Salina's story.
AEW plot lines are literally just guy has match, other dude looked at him dirty now they have title match. Dude overcomes anxiety and then becomes champ lol. Meanwhile MLW was telling stories about Mobsters vs World Terrorist Units taking over some rinky dink wrestling tournament. The overall outline of the city logically placed all the matches which led to the development of the plot. Khan has a good roster but he can't write or book worth shit.
