Last time he talked about it, he said the big hold up was the hernia treatment, getting the appointment taking longer than expected and then like 10 weeks of recovery after it. So it all depends on when he gets that done.

Q4 2022 when it comes to both rehabbing injuries and getting back into wrestling-ready physique. But considering the state AEW is currently in and how it might end up by that time I doubt he'll be staying in the company much longer. He'll either go back to NJPW or have a run in the WWE with a Cody contract.
