>>5225444Heyman's ECW originals are all dead or all openly hate him as far as wanting nothing to do with him. The "Smackdown Six" barely tolerated him and a good chunk of them are dead or no longer with the company, and any backstage power he has these days is super fleeting due to Vince's whims.
The Good Brothers and AJ represent the new power structure of the 10s, IE the Bullet Club/New Japan as the new nexus point of what's "in" and Heyman meanwhile is stuck clinging to Brock (and now Roman)'s chest like a parasite to enrich himself. And even then, I'm sure Brock and Roman know they can only trust him as far as they can fling him with their bare hands, given how fast and quickly Heyman turned on CM Punk after doing the same to him (attaching himself like a parasite to Punk). Hell, I would not be shocked if Brock openly gets threatened with his homophobic comments to Sports Illustrated by Heyman, whenever he complainst about Heyman mishandling his finances whenever Brock and Sable find out that Paul's been embezzling money from them.
And AJ in particular, represents a good Christian boy who made good and proved you didn't need Heyman to make it big in the wrestling business as far as Heyman positioning himself as the gatekeeper like he did in the late 90s/early 00s. So hurting him by firing Anderson and Gallows was extra turning of the knife on AJ, as well as the fact that he manipulated AJ into a position where he'll never get another upper card run so long as Heyman's got both of his men on Raw and Smackdown.
