Vince wasn't at most RAW's since he started focusing on Smackdown and RAW got way worse so I think that was a preview of what'll happen when Vince is gone, it'll get even worse. The show he micromanages, Smackdown, is the best show.

I think the first Walter vs Ilja Dragunov match is incredibly based because of this, hearing the chops with no audience to react to them gives it a very surreal atmosphere. It's superior to their second match and I'm tired of pretending otherwise

remember when it was DEAD SILENT for every match

how did you idiots watch 3 hours of raw like that? god i couldnt watch in the dead silence more than 10 minutes. you could hear the wrestlers clearly making calls, youd listen to grunting and heavy breathing the whole match, the ring creaking and echoing for what felt like 10 seconds after every move

just awful.

The worst part is that for some reason the wrestlers decided to continue talking even after the pandemic was over. Roman Reigns is especially bad with how often he does it in his matches

I vaguely remember a heel cheating as the referee was disturbed with something else and as was Cole calling it (excitedly yelling about it) it was apparent the ref could hear Cole and pretend he couldn't

The brilliance of how surreal it was as a wrestler comes down to their entrance music while waving at the empty stands, and then would jump and stand on the second rope talking to the empty seats. It's haunting.

Pandemc-era AEW, when they added the wrestler crowd was actually giood. Tesha Price going crazy, sunset matches with palm trees in the back, Eddie Kingston debut, Rosa debut, Starks debut, Team Taz debut, that weird joshi who sings her own music continuing to sing while the match starts and bodies are flying everywhere.
