The thing that makes this video so cool isn't so much that it's riot footage but the every circumstance and piece of context that made the people in that arena go ape shit
Context: Ox baker's heart punch was kayfabe'd as a life threatening maneuver after two seperate ocassions where a wrestler coincidentally died some time after stepping in the ring with Ox.
A worked sport, the face/heel dynamic, a unique acting method called "kayfabe", the way the promoters back then educated the audience on everything that happened. The more i think about the factors that led to that riot the more bizarre it seems and the cooler the footage becomes. I wish we could still be able to care about wrestling this much

I watched it but there's no part 2.
Overall it's a fun match. I'm surprised how he can move like that despite looking frail. Thesz might be the GOAT American wrestler.

Thesz talked about his match with Inoki in his book. He said he was working on his conditioning in a series of matches in the US in preparations for the match after he accepted NJPW's offer for a match. When the Inoki match was finally decided, he canceled his schedule for all matches and set up a training camp to concentrate on his training. He felt it was more important to have a match with Inoki than to have matches his fellow Americans. He was in perfect condition for the NWF match against Inoki, and he could not have been in better shape. His match with Inoki was his last big fight in his career and he said that during the match, Inoki brought the best in him.

Part 2 was prolly deleted by NJPW, they've been deleting lotsa shit on YouTube because of copyrights.
