Guy went from 0 to 100 out of nowhere (And his trajectory into Best Friends, to begin with, was also pretty out of nowhere). It's very inorganic.
That isn't to say he's ruined or anything silly like that. The guy has a lot of potential and it's great that he's in this stable, but they rushed this hard.
