That nonce Greg Dyke cancelling WOS in the late 80s. If Joint Promotions still had the ITV slot when the WWF started to pick up steam over here around 1991 we would have seen a second wave of success based around Titan castoffs versus Big Daddy (Daddy vs Paul Roma, Daddy vs Buddy Rose), then Davey Boy Smith comes back to the UK in 1993 and takes the baton over from Crabtree. WWF can't rely on European tours to stay alive and goes bankrupt in 1995.
