He won the TNT belt like 3 times, and that belt is supposed to not just be a "mid-card belt." Even though everyone views it as one because they don't have another "proper" mid-card belt. And he developed brain rot early on and decided to make it part of his character that he can't challenge for the belt. Then the brain rot became advanced, and he decided he wasn't going to become a heel, even though the crowd was ready for it.
