It depends if the promotion books it properly. New Japan has Trios Championships but they're not taken seriously at all and never have been. AEW has a lot of groups with nothing to do so I don't see why they couldn't introduce a Trios Division to give those guys something to do.

Trios matches tend to be faster paced and involve coordinated multi-person spots. If women tried to work that style that it'd be an absolute disaster.
