WWE is one extreme, never letting their talent utter an unscripted word. This leads to shit promos because your workers are not actors and don't understand how to deliver lines properly or emote.
AEW is the other extreme, letting their talent just ramble on about whatever they want and trying to wing the storylines last minute.
Somewhere in the middle is what both need - writers who deliver an outline of what needs to happen and wrestlers who can deliver a good promo off the top of their head.
Both of them suck.
