If you watch the video, shes interviewing the guy, so one could say she couldn't really understand what the crowd was chanting and just assumed it had to do with the race. Then she goes "as you hear the crowd chanting..." then she pauses to let the audience watching hear the crowd, it was at this moment I believe she realized 'ah shit, they're chanting fuck joe biden and i just paused to let the tv audience hear it, I'm gonna be in trouble' so she plays naive and pretends that she hears "Lets go Brandon".
