So I gave aew and wwe a shot after mania and it took aew two weeks to fuck up.
Meanwhile I’m excited to watch smackdown. I just don’t see aew killing wwe in any way bros.

I didn’t watch the thunder dome era so this fresh for me cope something you guys don’t get is people tune in and out that’s why there’s recaps even during the show
Not everyone tunes in at the start some get home half way through the episode

I'm in the same boat anon. Got into pro wrestling around October of last year, starting with WWE Smackdown. The recaps really help you get into the story as a beginner.

Started watching WWE back in 2015, personally. Try to watch post brand split 2016 / early 2017 Smackdown, probably the best Smackdown has been in the last decade.

Absolutely. Funny thing is Marvel movies bore me, but will always enjoy slower, deeper movies like Blade Runner or Pierrot Le Fou, just like I enjoy WWE here and there.
Just because I prefer WWE over AEW doesn't mean I enjoy capeshit, especially considering most AEW fans seem to be capeshit fans themselves.

this is what I do too, I might catch an impact show or a njpw show here or there but when Im done with wwe I just quit wrestling for a while. that "im not a wrestling fan im a wwe fan" shit is kinda true atleast in my case. aew can have some good stuff like the kenny christian matches, the miro redeemer stuff, but the show just has too much gay shit to put up with as a whole.
