I watched Antonio Inoki vs Billy Robinson after Charlton mentioned it during the Okada vs ZSJ match. Let’s just say it’s my favorite 2/3 falls match with the best outcome possible after these two killed it in the ring.

Inoki vs. Robinson is a classic, a true masterpiece of pure pro-wrestling. Robinson struggling out of a headscissors by trying to balance on Inoki's ankle is one of my favorite spots in the match.

Great show of wrestling. Reminds me a lot of Bockwinkel Vs Hennig match of november of 86': A long bout that's mostly spend working holds but the guys are so good they manage to make reversals and transitions exciting to watch
However, i think Robinson should've gotten more time in control. There's a section around the middle of the match where Inoki is constantly getting the better of Robinson to the point it becomes sort of monotonous

I don't know about that really. Jumbo had quite a bit to do with the King's Road style and he didn't do much in the 90s. 80s AJPW is fucking great, Brodie/Stan, the Funks being incredibly over, etc. Underrated.
