Smarks don't mean what it used to because everyone is a smark now-a-days. Everyone knows it's not real and everyone has some degree of knowledge on the business as a whole. So if you take the old definition literally then you're right, knowing what a smark is makes you smark. But to me and other anons, smark evolved into people who know about the in's of pro wrestling but as such love everything that spits on what used to be a legitimate illusion. They like fourth wall promos, and guys going up against others 4x their size and tongue and cheek gimmicks, and they love it because it panders to them being in the know

Nobody hates hotter women, nobody hates big men or good promos. This is just what you tell yourselves when people like women wrestlers that you don't like or when people hate on big men you like.

Stop being retarded and read my post again. Smark's definition changed because everyone's a smark now-a-days and there's no point to have a term for it anymore. The nu definition of smark is dependent on the person but the common theme is that smarks are people in-the-know who like it when wrestling doesn't follow conventions and when it panders to them and their "insider" viewpoint. Christ sake you can't say shit on this board anymore without schizos thinking your somehow using it to consolewar rather then just talking about a term that has existed for like 2 decades at this point
