I've given it a few chances but I just can't stand the booking. I know WWE isn't perfect either, but as bad as the booking has gotten I think AEW's is way worse.
Not a fan of AEW's roster in its beginnings, and that's true to this day. Never liked Punk, Black, or Adam Cole, I'd always change the channel whenever there entrances started playing. I do like Jericho, Bryan and some other guys, but not impressed with the stuff they've done in AEW so far.

I'm not entirely sure what about it irks me. Something about it feels like they're trying their best not to be like WWE and failing. It ends up feeling more amateurish than professional.

As I said, my biggest issue with it is the roster, followed by the booking irking me for some reason.
For reference, I liked NXT from Finn Balor's day as champion until Drew got called up to the main roster. Most of the guys weren't particularly interesting to watch, and the booking felt iffy in some ways. Certain guys being focused on more than they should have instead of the ones that actually could have carried the brand. AEW just feels like that, like NXT during the era that made me stop caring for it completely.
I know it's subjective and an awful response, but it's better than not having given AEW a chance and shitting on it out of brand loyalty.

not him but I know what you mean, like I admit theres some pretty good shit but the match style, and type of guys they have on the show just turns me off. I havent watched it since a little before kenny dropped the belt and I dont feel like im missing much.

omega is the guy that pisses me off the most, when he cuts out the extra autism he can have great matches, its telling my favourite matches of his were the ones with an almost 50 year old christian, those two matches are in my top 10 for last year. and yes, I watched all of the okada ones, overrated as fuck.
