This faggot had the biggest push of his time and he still blew it. The authority angle was good but it deserved to be for someone better
I remember one of my friends was a fan of him and he threw a chair at the TV because of a segment with hunter talking to him down because he's a manlet, and then instantly dropped him after mania.
No one cared that he was the babyface, the heels did the job for him
And if you need constant jobbing from top heels then you're not a good babyface

WM30 was the series finale. They should have reset the show from that point, but instead they dug even deeper into the "fans are more important than the show" mentality that smarks pushed so hard for to the point where they will actively focus camera shots on the crowd rather than showing the action and naming their products after chants and airing vignettes about the fans rather than the wrestlers

But this is one of the foundations of wrestling, anon. Heels exist to get babyfaces over. Nobody cares about the 'good guy' without a good adversary.

This. WWE should just purge every single talent that doesn't have a belt, push up the NXT wrestlers, and only start using performance center guys from here on out. After that get new writers and commentators then go back to the gritty fight club style arenas. We need a great reset on pro wrestling.

After all that was ended, there was literally no one.
WWE has the opposite problem right now, every baby face was just fed to Roman and lost. and baby faces that should beat him like Drew are/were in heatless feuds. Making almost all baby faces seem like chumps.
