You act as if indie shit like AEW didn't exist back in the 90s. They did but of course nowhere near as similar as a scale as AEW, it's just back then nobody gave a fucking shit about the indies except for you know who, Dave Meltzer. That's what's completely different now. Back then, nobody really knew who Dave was except for maybe Vince Russo. Now in days, damn near 90% of wrestling news came from Dave, with everyone else just copying his bullshit and taking what he said out of context.
