This was one of the biggest stories in wrestling in a long time and Meltzer had nothing but some bullshit, while guys like Bill Bhatti leaked the news a long time befor it actually happened. Meltzer as a reporter has a big problem with a lack of good sources in WWE, and too much bias, as he knows Cody and probably wouldn't leak the info even if he found out. He relies more on the entertainment aspect of being a personality and the old Meltzer with scoopz and shit has been gone for a while. Now he's another low key meltdown on Twitter and podcast about how heckin' great that thing popular with smarks is.
