It's a special event show. It has 3 matches.
Two of which have been built to and they are the two least interesting stories on AEW TV, bearing in mind that currently all the stories on AEW TV are bad besides the Yuta thing and MJF vs Wardlow.
The third match is some random ROH match for no reason.

Why would anyone watch this, besides the AEW fanatics who would watch a 9 hour youtube show if AEW produced one?

That's why it's on a "special show" anon. They knew that these title matches were going to happen on it for months anon. They're cold BECAUSE they don't want too many people to miss the payoff to a big angle. Because they know it's not at a good time.

This is quite literally why TK didn't want to do these shows he only wanted his 2 hours on Wednesday, but Turner want something to prop up ratings at some dead times. He had to fight them to make Dynamite 2 hours instead of 3.

Anon, do you think that TK wants to put major big deal matches in off-timeslot places, up against major events he knows will siphon viewers? This is to appease the TV people. If he had his way, AEW would probably be 2 hours wed and the youtube shit only. But to get the TV deals, he had to agree to do more, because they want to get the most value for what they spend. And he can't just phone it in completely, because if these do ratings that the network is happy with, it becomes leverage for future TV deals. It's a balancing act of "What can I do to keep my main show and PPVs hot, while also getting good enough viewership on the times fewer people will watch, while minimising the damage to the main show."
