It's all a work and the interviewer designs his speech and the questions around what result he wants. If someone's wife was murdered, and he didn't do it, do you think just because they aren't guilty a question like 'Did you kill your wife' wouldn't create a reaction and increase your pulse and have you emotionally reeling? That's why if they don't want to find you guilty they wont ask the question like that, and if they do, even if you pass the first question, they'll push harder by saying 'Did you stab your wife ten times?' And just push you until they get the reaction they want.
