Let's be brutally honest, how long does AEW have left?
WWE is in a limbo-type position where they can't die anytime soon and NJPW etc don't make the risks with super high budgets.

I don't know Tony but he seems to drop commitments quite easily.

They have as long as the current Turner deal lasts. They won't be getting renewed, or a cable deal anywhere else. Tony will have to cut 75% of the roster once they're relegated to Youtube and >FITE.

It’s almost sad at this point that people are praising him when he’s shit the bed lately with such a stacked roster. The whole show feels stagnant as shit. His booking clearly isn’t that great because he replaced all the shitters from 2019 yet the shows stories are still at about the same level. They could have been at WCW 1998 levels by now but they still feel like maybe WCW 97. I’m waiting for Tony to kick into full gear but he never seems to.

It's already over. They can't break the million viewer glass ceiling. Discovery will definitely cut it's losses and without a tv deal, AEW is DEAD. I wish it was fun while it lasted, but it wasn't.

It's still has a year or two. "Cracks are forming" is funny, but it's true. This year has been a disaster with Page's reign, Cody leaving, and WWE reminding everyone that AEW is incapable of putting on a massive event like Mania. And we Tony melting down. Tony is swatting at imaginary flies (bots) like a senile fog. He's booking with Warner in mind, a sure sign that a new TV deal isn't a lock

AEW are past their peak, there is no way they can get more fans than what they have now. Those fans will get bored and leave, only a hard core of fans will remain. So probably another two years at the most before they’re getting viewer numbers of like 200k.

There's two relevant issues to AEW continued existence:
>Can AEW start making enough money to beat the 4-6% interest on the investment capital
>Does AEW present value for media companies
The first answer is probably no, but as it's a passion project then it doesn't matter as much as long as they're able to stem the losses
The second answer is yes. AEW is a youthful and vibrant brand with a passionate audience who will follow them across channels or platforms, and that's a valuable commodity to have in the new media landscape.
AEW will be absolutely fine for years. So will WWE.
