But to answer question. He'd be the top heel. Prior to him leaving he was the last man eliminatred at the Rumble. Was the semi main event of Wrestlemania. And headlined the first 2 (and also 2 best drawing IYH ppv's) that year.
He worked on top as heel on all the house shows against Bret, Shawn and Taker. WWF house shows finally started to draw because they had a strong heel on top. He was in the main event for the 2 records breaking MSG house shows in 1996.
But even though he was a heel he was getting tweener reactions. People liked how badass he was. So'd they probs have to switch him back babyface.
In WCW he was a top guy and became on of biggest stars in industry. He was arguably 3rd top star in WCW behind only Goldberg and Hogan. When he returned to WWF in 2002, he came in on top against the two top babyfaces and got babyfaces reactions against them in certain markerts. He got injured. Then came back on top in 2003.
Even when he came back in 2011, when he was like 53 years old. He came in on top against Punk and HHH. Plus worked against Cena and Big Show on house show main events in Japan.
So basically he would be a huge top star major player superstar headliner. Which im sure will make his haters here seethe.
