The thing is though, and this is why I don't watch MMA, is because you'll never get a 20 minute fight with a bunch of bombastic moves from guys who can work a crowd mid match. That's the unique benefit wrestling offers. But for that to be successful, people have to care about who's involved, and I think that's what Raven's getting at here - if it's just matches with hardly any character work or feud building and you see those guys in matches all the time, especially for free, 1. why do you care and 2. why are you gonna pay for it when you get it free every week?
