>explain how AEW Rampage was in an ideal time slot and still failedHistory has shown that if you move a show to another channel, it will do a lower number than usual in its first week. When RAW moved to SYFY, it did the lowest number in history. Then went back up the following week. When Smackdown moved to FS1 last year, it did 800k, then did just over 1m the following week.
>and still failedThat is entirely subjective. I'm sure TNT was fine with it and knows my above point, since they're in the actual TV business and you're not.
>Meanwhile, Friday Night SmackDown had over two million per usualYes it did, but it lost 0.12 of its key demo. That's a LOT. The key demo is the target audience, not the over 50's that make up the majority of the viewership. I would compare this to running a kids TV show and the majority of the viewership isn't children. You're not getting the viewers you want. Though in 2019, WWE was on a 50/50% ratio with the 18-49 and 50+, that was ideal. Now it is skewed in the favor of the unfavorable.
>You’re losingI wasn't aware there was an actual competition between the companies. Neither shows are overlapping, that ended with AEW Dynamite & NXT. The "war" is entirely fan-made.
