Wrestlings target audience is 18-49, whereas something like Drake & Josh would be 12-17. The demo is never cope because it is the only metric that matters. If your key demo is one thing and you are drawing massive numbers in another demo, then you're doing something wrong.

The Meltzer school of ratings. No drawing numbers outside of your "key auidence" is not a bad thing you simp. The reason 18-49 year olds are important is in their perceived and potential purchasing power and nothing more. It is the prime spot of people to sell the most things to, which is how TV makes money, selling ad space. But that key demo are not the only people purchasing things, they just represent the most likely purchasers. If my show ropes in people beyond the key demo that is not me doing something wrong, that is me doing something right, because ultimately the more people that watch something the more people see the ads and the more likely they will buy something. No one looks at a show like GoT getting more viewers and thinks "Oh shit GoT you fucked up getting more viewers." More viewers is always better. Always. Having more viewers is the goal of every show that has ever existed. The more viewers a show has the more it costs to advertise when it airs. And to be honest using Neilsen to track this key demo is so brain dead networks are not doing it anymore and have begun to tell it to either either fuck off or are actively replacing it since Neilsen does not measure streamers. How many 18-49 year olds do you know watch TV purely on a set top cable box at a set time brainlet?

And again you're wrong. WWE is shown on Hulu's basic plan which has 43 million subscribers. AEW is shown Hulu Live which has 4 million subscribers. That doesnt take into account WWE on Peacock and its 9 million subscribers. WWE has such a large potential audience that even if every single person with Hulu Live watched it, the number wouldn't even approach half of Peacock's potential audience. This is why they have made 2 billion dollars off of TV deals alone. Regardless of you being mad NBC purchased the rights to WWE's programming for 1 billion dollars alone. Cope.
