Bret Hart is not The Best There Is, Was and Ever Will Be.

You'll notice that Bret is the only wrestler who think's he's the best there ever was. Very few if any of his peers put him at the very top, even his own family members like Neidhart, Diana and Davey Boy say that Owen was the best out of all the Harts. Owen was well liked and respected too, Where as, despite being a massive prick to everybody and one of the most hated people in the industry Shawn Michaels is frequently called the best in-ring performer of all time by his peers. Even people who hate HBK with a passion to this day like Jim Cornette admit that he was "the best performer of his era" Shane Douglas even said recently "you can say what you like about Shawn the guy but you can't deny he was one of the best ever". Steve Austin, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, Undertaker, Jim Ross, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Vince Mcmahon have all in quotes said that Shawn was the best in ring performer of all time.

And honestly that's just to name a few off the top of my head it goes on and on and on. I have seen countless clips of wrestlers who say they like Bret, love him to death but laugh out loud when they bring up" the best there is" tagline like can you believe that guy up on his high and mighty horse believed that FOR A SHOOT, oh man his ego is out of control. I say this as a big Bret Hart fan growing up, he had great psychology and he did the basics really well and could tell a great story in 20/30 minute match but he wasn't exactly versatile.
