I would think you would have to win a match to qualify for the tournament retard. Plus most of the women who qualified had matches on dark so its not like they are stuck doing only tournament matches like how shida is having a match on dynamite next week

Why though? The thing was announced about six months ago and they've been doing qualifiers for weeks. It's unbelievable that double tag champs FTR would volunteer to fight each other for a chance to win a mystery prize.

No, it didn't. The reward was usually just the title of "King of the Ring" and a crown. Only in 2002 did they formally award a world title shot, though some like Mabel did get one after winning as well, but that was not the norm.
