Tony "I will never be an onscreen character" Khan invites NJPW president on the stage and then they are both interrupted by a guy who has lost every big match he has had since signing, who is backstage and should have no ability to take control of the live feed. This guy then reveals that he somehow knows the annou cement when there is no reason he would. It falls completely flat. Then he introduces Jay White, a guy who half the audience won't know and who has had one match in AEW against a guy who hasn't won on TV like 18 months and barely beat him. No one reacts.
It was terrible.
