the fact is that inoki had over 30 years of being an influential top draw before that, hes one of the goats no doubt and changed the business in many good meaningful ways

He's the biggest wrestling star ever in Japan and it's not even close. The Inoki-ism years are just a weird footnote on a massive legacy that outshines everything else. He fucking made NJPW, of course he's a positive force.
