Something else to note is that Hausen's posture is purposefully terrible to make him look very evil.

So if Hook ever looks taller, that's probably why. But I think Danhausen might actually mog hook. Look at how high Hausen's shoulders are compared to Hook, who appears to be standing up straight.

I don't necessarily dislike Hook, but I agree that his whole squashing deal makes zero sense to me. The kid doesn't look like Goldberg or even Jade. And frankly, I've never liked Jade or Goldberg all that much. But I have a feeling Hook actually knows how to work. So why do they keep booking him like a monster instead of showing us his in-ring ability? Hopefully, when a PPV comes by and we see a proper Hook debut, he's every bit as good as he's hyped up to be.

Bro he's had like 8 (squash) matches and a year of training. And his only real match has been with the guy who taught him, and someone very capable of carrying people. He was taken out of the oven early to capitalise on the meme. I mean for god's sake he keeps doing those overhead strikes that aren't in the same country as his opponent.

I think that he's being paired with Hausen because he's one of the few guys they can feed to him who won't give a fuck. He's got at least 1 indy booking, so they clearly know he's gotta get the reps in. But no matter what, they've given a rookie a gimmick that he's a "cold-hearted badass" And that's not sustainable.

185 is absurdly generous. And I am pretty confident that Hook and Dan are even shorter than 5'10. I frankly wouldn't be shocked if they were both 5'8 with Dan being about a buck fifty and Hook being 175.
