Watching an NBA game after it's over is essentially pointless. That's why live sports do the ratings they do. The live part. It's kind of the entire point. Wrestling also takes advantage of that because of its live, serialized nature, but not nearly as much as real sports.

It's the conception of "the casual fan" that AEW critics like to bring up in arguments that is basically a fantasy, because that conception of "the casual fan" is basically just "Someone that shares all of my opinions, and the reason they're not watching is because AEW isn't exactly what I think it should be and doesn't seem to care about my opinion."
