The matches are more exciting but the roster is bloated so it might be a while before you see your favourites again if they're not involved in a featured feud.

They try a lot of different things.
Some of it is great some of it is terrible.
I find more interesting than wwe even when it's not great because at least they're trying different stuff. I got bored of just seeing the same thing every week in wwe, that and the amount of ad breaks eventually made me lose interest.

I think the main difference is that WWE has this overly clean and nonoffensive atmosphere with its Kevin Dunn production and comedy sitcom writing

AEW in contrast is more raw but that comes with its own disadvantages like disjointed universes (compare how Punk segments are booked compared to Hangman segments since wrestlers are given more freedom over the details, rather than everything dictated by one guy) and also sometimes embarrassing indie shit

There is no such thing as workrate.
It has as many goofy characters as wwe.
It just has better wrestling on average due to relaxed limitations and better promos sometimes. Less micromanaging.
The actual quality of the show itself is as bad as wwe, often worse. Sometimes stuff is good but the stories don't go anywhere or make sense.

Yeah I agree with this. The main event matches, or matches with really good wrestlers, are way better than WWE, but if you just watch wrestling by only watching matches from your favourties you'll have to wait awhile. The con is the promos compared to WWE are crap but since story and promos doesn't play a big role in AEW you can jump in and jump out very easily
