I personally saw a dad take his kid into a comic store, looking for an Iron Man comic because the kid liked the MCU movies, but all Marvel was making at the time was Iron Heart, the diversified shit knockoff of Iron Man.
This was also about the time of Nazi Captain America. No fucking shit the MCU didn't translate into sales of that garbage. It'd be like the Young Bucks being cool characters in a wildly popular movie, but then people tune in to AEW to see shit like webum related
