BOTW is a great 7/10 game that's in no way comparable to Elden Ring, which mogs it even in it's strong suit (open world design) and then mogs it even harder in all other areas like combat, boss design, build variety and writing.
There should be no more open world games because they mostly suck and ER has culminated the genre.

Most important aspects of open world design are player traversal and interactivity and Bing blows absolute dick in both of those aspects.
In Bing you can:

>jump
>ride a horse
In BotW you can:

>run
>jump
>ride a variety of mounts
>glide through the air
>swim
>climb
>surf/slide down slopes
>launch yourself through the air with makeshift catapults
and probably a bunch more shit I'm forgetting
