>>5471419It seems like pharma probably had targets set for each country and once they had sold enough vaccines to that county they would allow for the governments to open up again. Australia barely had any covid cases ever and was still open during the rest of the world's initial lockdowns, which meant when it came to take the vax they had a massively low uptake. Then as soon as like 3 people got covid they had some of the harshest lockdowns until more people agreed to take the vax. So I am thankful to all the people over here who took one for the team and got vaxxed so they would let us out of the house again.
