>>5475963If we’re being honest. TV has been dead. I don’t even get how these insane tv deals still occur. The only reason WWE is safe is because the NFL exists dragging TV kicking and screaming. I’d only logically consider TV staying due to Netflix and the other countless streaming sites ruining the stream business making it as much if not more than the cost of cable packages.
The reason people cut off cable is to save money not wasting it on channels they don’t use. The optimal way to stream content is just pay a month of one service you’ll binge or for sports pay for the nba service only during playoffs. Hype causes more money to be spent because people will need to watch the latest Netflix hit or some shit.
I guess TV forces the ads and that’s why it’s around with the money. I personally don’t ever see a TV add and act on it. So to me the whole advertisement business is a money laundering work.
If discovery is cutting costs this anon is right
>>5474455WWE will keep getting big deals because the name brand and history. AEW is dumb as fuck still doing this MMA like PPV content. The money in wrestling is the hours of content. With ROH now bought AEW needs to eye a stream service deal to get all AEW/ROH shows on there. Put dark and elevation on the streaming service too. Wrestling has loyal fans that will shit out money, AEW being on a streaming service with a lot PPVs. That should be there next goal on top of just resigning on a tv network they won’t get kicked off of.
