John Cena is the best example. He's even really comfortable making himself look vulnerable to entertain the audience because he understands that it is just a show. That's why Peacemaker was so funny.
Any other actor like Will Smith, Vin Diesel or Tom Cruise would have vetoed the script the moment they saw a scene about his character ugly crying. But John Cena ran along with it and that was one of the funniest and endearing scene of the series.
