Heading into Wrestlmania 40, Reigns is still enjoying his historic reign as champion. He beat The Rock at WM 39, but fans are starting to really get tired of Roman.

Vince, now two years older, is finally able to admit his own mortality. He teases a historic promo on RAW: his last one ever. During this promo, he says that he is finally ready to give up control of WWE. But Peacock has made it clear to him that they want a wrestler to take over as CEO, as the business infrastructure is set in place.

Vince announces that leading up to WM, every RAW and SD will feature matches that will have wrestlers fight each other for the most important match of all time: Ownership of WWE match at WM 40.

Wrestlers past and present enter this tournament. Old fucks coming out of retirement to try and win ownership of a mutli billion dollar company. Shane and Stephanie team up from a family angle. Numerous swerves, copious backstabbing.

The tournament ends, and it's Roman w/ Heyman vs. Theory. Vince says that Theory has been his golden goose for years now because of his in ring ability, also for his business acumen. Heyman makes an obvious case to Roman to "split" the company with him if he wins. Match goes, Theory wins the belts and the company. Vince comes out to confeatulate Theory and "hand it off". A flashback video plays from the very first time Vince and Theory interacted where Theory signed a contract that includes language that vanquishes "future holdings in current employer." Theory is devastated. Vince says "I'm going to be 100 years old and shoving this shit down your throat, marks!" Rebirth of Mr. McMahon.
