Was releasing Parker Boudreaux the biggest mistake WWE ever made? This young athlete had it all; raw potential, star power, a promising career. A freak athlete, the future of the WWE was right there in front of us. Unfortunately, due to the budget cuts, things came to an end with Boudreaux at 26 years old. The former NFL prospect was deemed too expensive to be kept around. Despite this, he still had the drive to succeed. He never stopped working out and training. Even though he wasn’t getting the opportunities he wanted, he kept his head high.
AEW saw the man's potential and decided to enter negotiatons with him. After weeks of back and forth, AEW offered Boudreaux a two-year deal, which he accepted. It was a risk, but one worth taking. However, not everyone was in agreement, and Boudreaux’s first few matches with the new organization were marred by some of his old WWE personality. It took a while, but he finally started working as himself. Once the fans got on board with Boudreaux, it was evident that he was here to stay. He has been as advertised and is ready to take on the wrestling world.
