Garbage feds. AEW used him like people want to see him wrestle but people want to see him bleed. They started with him as a deathmatch guy but they didn't do a deathmatch division and actually do them sparingly. When you don't do that many deathmatches, what's the point of having a deathmatch guy? It isn't like Mox where he can brawl his ass off, it's a guy who needs to be put through doors to be interesting.

He got fooled is all. He had good deathmatches with Moxley and Omega so he let him have a real match with Omega on Dynamite. It too was pretty good. Then not only did they give him a real match with Hangman "I couldn't carry a match in a bucket" Page but had him feud with Kip "I couldn't carry a feud in a bucket" Sabian and Tony realized he overpaid for a shitter who had overhyped booking prowess (easy to book a card once a year on WM weekend when every wrestler who draws breath converges on the same town.)
