Nakamura was the best wrestler in the world at around 2011 and he was already a veteran at that point
His last great match was his NXT debut
AEW fans just want him because they want to do the :O face at a name they know.
Ideally, he keeps racking in the cash, then has a 2/3 match run in New Japan before retiring. Since, you know, he has actual story there and fans that love him instead of obese self-marks that just want their toy for their console war over which WWE-like promotion is less shit.
