There wasn't one clear top star. Everyone near top started to feel pressure.
Then punk came and that pressure was off. Punk can handle it. I don't think he even cares If all the hopes and dreams lay on his shoulders since then. He is undisputed top start and moment he walked to aew. Show has improved. Guys act less crazy.
But same time I think lot of people wrote off aew just as that goofy promotion. And that kneekaped their growth and they still haven't recovered from it.
