>Roderick Strong wants out of WWE.
>Fightful Select has learned that Roderick Strong has asked for his WWE release "multiple times" over the last several months. We're told that Strong has grown frustrated with many things over the past year within the company and had requested his release, which has been denied by WWE.
>Strong is the last remaining member of Undisputed Era with WWE, and was pitched the Diamond Mine stable last year. It was set to feature himself, Tyler Rust, Arturo Ruas, Malcolm Bivens, Hideki Suzuki and his wife Marina Shafir. Less than a year later, Strong is now the only member of the originally pitched stable to remain. Fightful Select reported that Strong had re-signed with WWE shortly before that.
>NXT sources indicated that Strong was also pitched a name change, which he was said to oppose the idea of. There were many within the company that were surprised that Strong was not included in the April 29 round of NXT releases as he'd made it clear to WWE that he wanted out.
>All of the other members of Undisputed Era -- Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, are in a stable together in All Elite Wrestling. Those that we've spoken to on WWE's side of things say Strong has remained professional is his handling of creative week-to-week. WWE sources that confirmed the news claim they currently have no plans to release Strong and say he factors into their creative plan.
