Most likely saw the writing on the wall. IR's in a bad state and there was talk of diabanding it last summer before the younger wrestlers convinced Sato (the president) not to. She wasn't going to get hired by or maybe had no interest in working for Stardom or TJPW or even just working outside of Ice Ribbon, an environment she literally grew up in. So her options if IR went down would be slumming it in go nowhere places like WAVE and SEAdLINNNG.

Better to get out while she's still young, in good health and when she can still get a real job since her plan is to go into teaching.
