Top to bottom, even the opener with Aino and Neko was a thrilling ride of non-stop excitement. Mahiro actually had an inspiring singles game against Yuna. Misao's quiz match with Kaya was pure DDT wackiness. The two tag matches were very fine and the main event was a tour de force.

The style is a lot more safe, they don't try to sawdust themselves every night. They use simple moves and make them look meaningful, they also use the basics of wrestling like: Finishers actually end matches.
There's also no heel-babyface system. They all get along as good friends, with most of the rivalries being about proving themselves to their fans or to the veterans.

TJPW is the number two promotion and has been for like 3 or 4 years. It was basically tied with Ice Ribbon but 2022 has been a really bad year for IR.

TJPW doesn't really do shirts all that much except for the main promotion itself and I don't think they've even done one of those in like a year. Itoh was insanely over in 2018 going into 2019, finished number two in DDT's elections that year (which would've gotten her a KO-D Openweight Title match had she won) and was in first almost the whole way until a bunch of last second votes for Akito. The problem is that she then had a bad title match against Miyu at 2019's Ittenyon (i.e. 1/4) show and spent the rest of the year feuding off and on with Natsumi Maki and losing which cooled her off considerably and she never really recovered from it. She got over as the underdog but isn't really one anymore and her character seems to have worn thin with the native fanbase.

No, zero chance. The international princess title is the belt outsiders can win. The Princess of Princess Title is a symbol to TJPW, it's their most important title and outsiders don't win it. No. TJPW has built an aura around the PoP title for years, as someone said a few threads ago "writing their own lore" with long reigns and just a few select title holders, so that the young generation has massive walls to get through in order to reach that belt MAYBE at one point. If you replace all of that with an outsider who gets a lucky shot and wins the biggest championship that not even Mizuki or Itoh have won, it'd be all pointless. The International Princess Title is for that kind of story.

Thank you for being so obvious, I didn't know wrestling promotions had an "about" section on their website where they explain what the titles mean. Where's the TJPW section on DDTpro.com that explains the difference between the white and blue belt? There isn't, but we know the difference because we watch the bloody shows. Most of TJPW lore is about fan perspective, what we see week after week. They don't have a Dave Meltzer in japan explaining the technicality and reasoninig behind every decision, we have to figure it out ourselves, and that is the most sound reason TJPW could have for having a title so protected.
