This is basic wrestling logic that I guarantee even Cornette will defend. It's only recently that rematches are shit on so venehemently but 3 match series that are held exclusively on PPVS are fine. I get it though, there was a time when you'd see rematches on TV for six weeks straight as well as tag teams between 4 feuding people. This isn't one of those cases though

They're liars, manipulators, assholes, etc. Seth is very clearly a sore loser making excuses for why he lost. Cody accepted the first rematch because he's a babyface and there was nothing inherently wrong with Seth's original challenge. Seth even framed it as him respecting Cody and wanting to challenge again on more even terms. This third match is because Seth has now cost him a championship, attacked him, and so Cody wants to hurt him. It's extremely easy to follow man
