First year of wrestling I had something in my back that was bothering me. Got diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis. Doctor told me that it was far enough along that if I didn't stop bumping I could cause it to get REALLY bad. Retired that year.
Zach Gowen and the MCM were there a lot and showed me how to work and do promos. Nothing really on the horror story department other than dealing with going into Highland Park during it's downward spiral. Horrible place that was the only location at the time that Martin could rent out for cheap.
He has moved on to better things since working with ROH, he has a school in a permanent location now. I go out and help them set up for shows sometimes if they are nearby.
