Start with Wrestlemania 13 Austin vs Bret (don't need to watch the rest of the card) then watch Raw from there. You will skip a lot but that is when it starts getting good, you'll want to watch all the stuff with Austin, Bret, Shawn, Mankind, Owen, Rocky plus some other stuff

Basically this. 96 is when russo started to wrest control from boomer filth like Cornette and made wrestling great again. But there is still residual cheese in 96 from what i remember just seems like 98-2000 was the sweet spot
