In AEW, the guys that get most segments are Jericho, Punk and MJF, despite not being champions, just because they are able to talk.

Takeshita will need a manager to carry him if he wants to work storylines, and all the good ones are in WWE now

Though considering how shit they are booking Scorpio as the TNT champ atm they could have Takeshita beat him in a month if things don't get better. All you need to have Take do is go out and have good matches give Callis to him as a mouthpiece and wait for Kenny to come back and then they can form a tag team.

Honestly would be pretty based if Cornette became Takeshita's manager and Tony gave him just enough rope to shoot on AEW without going over the line. Like can you imagine a program between Takeshita and Omega with and having Takeshita say something about fighting spirit and honor in Japanese to Jim and Cornette saying something like

And then have Kenny correct him as to what Takeshita actually said. I honestly think that there is a lot of room for comedy gold in that situation as well as having plenty of banger matches with Takeshita willing and able to take bumps that most of AEW's roster can't and won't. Also they are both DDT guys and their fundamental styles mesh very well.
